Phillip was able to go to the Festival of Colors with Karen Turcott. They really enjoyed their time there, and got just a little messy! Karen came down to do a session in the Salt Lake Temple. We were able to go do the session with her, then afterwards went to City Creek for dinner.

Meshach and Gus
Our little family began to grow when we got Meshach in February 2011 and Gus in October 2011. They are Viszla's and such good dogs!! They are totally spoiled though, and I'm pretty sure that they are unaware of their existence as dogs, they believe they are humans.... We love them so much and love to spend time playing with them and taking them places!!

Christmas 2011
Merry Christmas! This was an exciting Christmas. My brother Cameron and his wife Lorna came up from out of town, my sister Amber and her hubby and new baby were there, and my littlest brother Sky was out on a mission in Texas. By now we had just got our second puppy Gus, and were excited to give Meshach and Gus a few Christmas goodies. I set our living room up, like my mom and dad did when I was little. We always had to wait on the stairs and then we could go downstairs to see the surprises that they left us. Thanks mom and dad for starting in me a joy of family traditions! Love our families so much!!

The beginning of eternity.....
Phillip and I met in 7th grade. We got to know each other better in 9th grade, when he sat behind me in seminary. We continued our friendship until I was about 17, then starting dating. We had many memories together through high-school and beyond. Through experiences and time, we only deepened the understanding that we wanted to be with each other for forever. Phillip asked me to marry him at sunset with a surprise dinner at our favorite spot in the mountains up Trappers Loop. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple on December 15, 2009 for time and all eternity. It was a perfect day (weather was even kind for a Utah winter day!). We had such great support from family and friends. What a beautiful day to celebrate the beginning of eternity.

Graduating
I was so thrilled!! I had been working at my education for years. I was graduating with a degree in Elementary Education, being a teacher to children was something I loved more than anything in the world, and I was so excited to be starting my own adventure in years of doing something that I truly love! Thanks to all of my wonderful professors who taught me what it really means to be an educator, and above all thanks to all of my friends in the program who are an inspiration to myself and all around them! Watch out world, here come some pretty freaking awesome teachers..... ;)

He's home!!!!
Phillip and I had known each other since being in seventh grade. We dated most of high school, then while I was in college, Phillip served an LDS mission in Kennewick WA. He and I both grew and had great experiences during those two years, but boy was I glad to have him back!!!!
